All dealings between Simply Luminous Skin and any person relating to any goods or service provided and supplied by Simply Luminous Skin to the Client through this website, Instagram/Facebook, Phone or Email are subject to the terms and conditions of trade set out below. By using these platforms, the client agrees to be bound by these terms.
Simply Luminous Skin will not sell or disclose the client’s personal information or details to any third party without the customers consent unless in the purpose of purchase/deposit/delivery or if necessary to comply with laws, investigations or legal proceedings.
At Simply Luminous Skin, we are committed to ensuring your personal safety whilst creating a safe environment for you to enjoy.
We plan to ensure that all treatments are carried out with the highest safety standards and in accordance with all NSW legislation requirements. All treatments will be performed by fully qualified staff using the highest cleaning protocols and safety measures.
Booking with SLSKIN
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required when making any bookings at Simply Luminous Skin. This deposit will go towards your chosen facial or treatment booked on the day. Confirmation emails will be sent out upon booking and reminders 72 hrs prior to your appointment date. It is the client’s responsibility to remember and take note of their upcoming appointment. SLSKIN is not responsible to remind or confirm with clients on their appointments.
A 72 hr cancellation policy takes effect with every booking made at Simply Luminous Skin. A text and email reminder will be sent out 72 hrs prior to your booking. Any cancellations, changes or rescheduling of your appointment must be made before this 72hr reminder or immediately when received. It is the client’s responsibility to remember and take note of their upcoming appointment and not depend on these reminders sent out. Appointment slots can not be changed for shorter times within the 72 hrs, contact us if additional time is needed for your appointment. All deposits paid to SLSKIN are non-refundable.
Any cancellations made during the 72 hr period will result in loss of deposit or fees charged at your next appointment. Same day cancellations, failure to show up or late arrivals of 15 mins or over, will result in loss of deposit and a further $50 fee. Please contact SLSKIN immediately if any emergencies or circumstances arise.
Saturday Cancellation Policy
Due to limited and booked out Saturday Appointments, our cancellation policy for Saturday is strictly 5 days prior to give other clients on a waiting list a chance to book. A text and email reminder will be sent out 72 hrs prior to your booking. It is the client’s responsibility to remember and take note of their upcoming appointment.
Same day cancellations, failure to show up or late arrivals of 15 mins or over, will result in loss of deposit and the additional fees to make up the FULL payment of the treatment booked on the day.
Rescheduling An Appointment
Appointments can be rescheduled online, over the phone or through email up to 72hrs prior to your booking. A maximum of two-three reschedules are permitted per booking depending on the circumstances. Any rescheduling made again for the same booking will be cancelled and result in loss of deposit. A new booking and deposit will be required before visiting SLSKIN.
Paying at SLSKIN
Simply Luminous Skin accepts card, cash and bank transfer payments. All eftpos payments made at SLSKIN incur a 2% surcharge of the final amount owing on the client's treatment. No further fees are applied on cash or bank transfer payments.
Price changes at SLSKIN
All prices at Simply Luminous Skin are susceptible to change without notice. Supplies and skincare prices are ever changing, as are treatments and education. To provide quality services, these changes need to be taken into ongoing consideration.
Coming in for your appointment
Please arrive at your appointment 5 mins before your booking. New clients arrive 10 mins prior, to complete your consultation form. Please arrive with no makeup on, as this saves time taken away from your appointment. Arriving late will deduct time off your treatment, with the full price charged.
Pre & Post Care
It is the clients responsibility to make sure they're not booking treatments at other service providers that can conflict with their appointment at SLSKIN. Some treatments require prepping with skincare, avoiding certain ingredients, specific aftercare or sufficient gaps between other treatments.
It is the clients responsibility to follow all provided pre and post care instructions to avoid any damage, injury or reactions.
Most pre & post instructions may include:
Avoiding heat, saunas, hot tubs, hot water, sweaty activity & makeup for 24 hours; this includes exercise of any kind.
Discontinuing products containing any exfoliating agents or active ingredients before or after depending on the treatment booked:
vitamin a or c, retinoic acid, tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, astringents, scrubs etc. Discontinuing home needling & anti-wrinkle injections. Applying SPF 30 or greater. Being careful of sun exposure.
Waiting 2 weeks between needling, laser, ipl, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, injectables or other related invasive treatments, before & after receiving an advanced treatment at SLSKIN or from other service providers.
Consultations at SLSKIN
Please ensure all information given during your consultation is honest and accurate to avoid any disappointment or receiving unsuitable treatments during your booking. It is the client’s responsibility to provide all information regarding their health or lifestyle or any ongoing changes at each visit to Simply Luminous Skin. It is the client’s responsibility to inform the therapist of any discomfort they may experience during treatment, to allow the therapist to adjust accordingly. By agreeing to the terms stated above and signing the consultation form, you agree to waive all liabilities towards Simply Luminous Skin for any injury or damage incurred due to any misrepresentation of your health history or any withheld information.
Refund or change of mind
Individual results, time frame of healing and results presenting over time can vary between clients. It is the client’s responsibility to maintain their skin at home through proper home care and by following the advice given on the day of treatment. Refunds are NOT accepted for change of mind or if you feel unsatisfied with any of the services at any time. As you are paying for Simply Luminous Skin's time, products and all other expenses used to provide your service, no refunds will be given for any reason. If you are unhappy with your services, please contact SLSKIN as soon as possible to work on resolving any issues.
Gift Cards or eGift Cards
Gift vouchers can be purchased in store or online. Physical gift cards are only available to purchase in store, with eGift cards available both in store and online. Online eGift cards can be emailed to the purchaser or recipient, with a code provided on the voucher to redeem in store.
Please present the purchased gift voucher at your appointment to be redeemed. If lost, the gift voucher will not be redeemable. Gift vouchers can NOT be refunded or exchanged for cash. Gift vouchers can be used on treatment or products. Cancellation policies and fees apply to all appointments and will result in loss of funds off the gift voucher.
Sale Prices & Rain checks
Sale prices are only eligible for appointments booked and completed during the sale period. No rain checks are accepted at SLSKIN unless stated on the sale announcement. One discounted price is eligible at a time and cannot be used in conjunction with any other sales or discounts.
Sale or Discounted Vouchers
Sale prices on vouchers are only eligible for treatments stated on the discounted voucher and can not be used on other services unless stated. All sale vouchers must be redeemed within the timeframe stated on the voucher. These vouchers can NOT be refunded or exchanged for cash. Cancellation policies and fees apply to all appointments and will result in loss of funds off the voucher saved on the account.
Children are not allowed to attend during any appointments made at SLSKIN. Electrical equipment, hot steamers, sharp objects and chemicals are used in each treatment, making this an unsafe environment for young children. Unsupervised children will cause distraction and time taken away from your appointment and won't enable the therapist to perform the treatment correctly and on time.
Any person under the age of 18 years wishing to book an appointment, will require an adult to attend the appointment to provide written consent before the therapist can perform any treatments. An adult will always have to be present and stay during the duration of the entire treatment.
Pregnant or suffer from a condition or illness
Please notify SLSKIN upon booking of any conditions, such as pregnancy, illnesses or medication that may affect your skin, before arriving for your appointment. Some conditions require a medical certificate from your doctor or adjustment of the treatment steps, products or modalities, to safely and properly be performed.

Pricing & Information
We strive to ensure all of our pricing and information on our website is true and correct, but occasionally honest mistakes might be made, as recognised by consumer law.
In the unlikely event that the price shown on the checkout page is wrong, and we discover this before dispatching your order, we are not required to sell the goods to you at the price shown. We will let you know as soon as possible and give you the option of re-confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel your order and you have already paid for the goods, then you will receive a full refund.
Return or Change of mind
Simply Luminous Skin unfortunately does not accept refunds or exchange for change of mind or if you feel unsatisfied with any of the products you have purchased and received. Please choose your products carefully and contact SLSKIN if you're not sure what is suitable for your skin before completing your online order.
Refunds will only be honoured on faulty products, in which they will need to be returned to the store for testing within 7 days of receiving your order before a refund is issued. No faulty products will be considered for return beyond 7 days of receiving your order. You may return the faulty products in person to the store located in Sydney or ship them back to us to receive a refund of the product returned and shipping fees, with proof of receipt emailed.
Shipping with Australia Post
SLSKIN is not responsible for any delays or issues that may occur during the shipping process from Australia Post. Shipping is only accepted within Australia. Items will be shipped within 3-5 business days.
All online orders include a standard shipping cost of $12 for Australia only. Free in store pick up is available to select during the checkout process. SLSKIN must be contacted to organise a date and time for pick up.
The use of this website and these conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any legal action arising out of its use shall be brought and enforced under the laws of Australia. By using this site, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia and any legal action pursued by you shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia
