ENZYME THERAPY

WHAT IS ENZYME THERAPY?

Enzymology is the term given to denote the study of enzymes. There are many different enzymes that exist within our bodies.  These generally act as a catalyst to aid the facilitation of certain chemical reactions, enabling certain bodily functions such as the digestion of food. In nature, enzymes are found within animals, bacteria, fungi and all plant-life, including marine plant-life, where they assist with vital processes for growth and development.

When it comes to skin care, plant enzymes, specifically protease enzymes, are often utilised for exfoliation purposes, improving cellular turnover as well as unclogging pores, brightening the skin and assisting to calm inflammation.

Enzymes are widely used in skin care formulations as they provide exfoliation benefits, helping to remove redundant skin cell build-up and encouraging cellular turnover. Making use of enzymes allows for a more refined texture and leaves the skin with an even and radiant complexion.

ENZYME THERAPY TREATMENTS

PEPTIDE ENZYME THERAPY

A diverse and potent collection of peptides and enzymes that provide a plumping effect to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while safe for sensitive skin.

Benefits Include:

  • Instantly boosts the skin's overall appearance
  • Exfoliates to significantly smooth skin texture
  • Minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Relaxes stressed, red skin

Performance Ingredients:

  • Papaya and Pineapple enzymes
  • MatrixylTM ( Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4)
  • MelanostatinTM-5 (Nonapeptide-1)

FIRMING ENZYME THERAPY

The Firming Enzyme Masque focuses on re-educating the facial muscles to tighten and tone the subdermal area. The masque holds facial muscles in contraction for a duration of 20-45 minutes, causing a pulsation in the skin as a form of passive exercise. This pulsation leads to an increase in skin vascularity and in turn improves the presence of oxygen, nutrients and minerals in the skin for overall improved skin health.

With DMAE to offer powerful lifting benefits and MSM focused on cellular repair, the Firming Enzyme Masque has an impressive record in age management, lifting and contouring the skin to help soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

CORRECTIVE ENZYME THERAPY

The Corrective Enzyme Masque makes use of a herbal enzyme formulation that contains soothing Flowers of Oats and amino acids (proteins). It assists in raising the skin’s pH to soften plasticized skin, helping to draw out embedded topical product residue and impurities. With the increase in vascular activity, it naturally oxygenates the skin, offering a refreshed, smoother and softer skin with a radiant, healthy glow.

Benefits Include:

  • Draws out embedded topical products
  • Skin firming ingredients
  • Activate motor point sensations to lift skin as it stimulates vascular activity
  • Exfoliating enzymatic action
  • Improves cellular renewal

THE LYMPHATIC THERAPY - $220

75 MIN

Please book in The Lymphatic Facial to have an enzyme or lymphatic mask selected on the day of your booking. This allows the service to be customised to your skin needs. Though each mask is unique, with different ingredients and formulas, all masks work on the lymphatic and circulatory system through the tightening effects they provide.

The Lymphatic Facial can be done every 2 weeks for clients following a treatment plan or every 4-6 weeks as a part of a maintenance program.

As with any exercise, best results can be seen when receiving more than one session of the enzyme treatments. They can be performed as a course of treatments, providing even better long-term skin health benefits.

Peptide Enzyme Therapy gently exfoliates to smooth rough, textured skin, while also plumping lines and reducing redness. Suitable for all skin types.

Firming Enzyme Therapy is powerful anti-ageing, lifting masque with anti-oxidant benefits suitable for all skin types.

Corrective Enzyme Therapy  raises the skin’s pH to soften “plasticized” skin and is suitable for dull, smothered and congested skin.

Enzyme/Lymphatic Therapy treatments aren't painful unless you're moving around during the treatment, but it can feel quite restrictive, so if you're claustrophobic this may be a trigger for you.

Aftercare Post Enzyme Therapy:

Any redness or vascular plasma response can last up to 15-20mins on the skin. Make up can be worn post treatment.

Drink plenty of water post and the week following lymphatic therapy to assist with detoxification and blood circulation. Skin may feel tight or dry post treatment. Apply hydration serums, masks and moisturiser the week post treatment.

If you experience an allergic reaction to the mask due to it containing albumen (Egg), please seek medical assistance, use an antihistamine or contact us.

Please wait 1-2 weeks between any injectables due to muscle contraction from the treatment and skin needling due to the skin being over stimulated..

Enzyme Therapy is not recommended for:

  • Local skin or soft-tissue condition.
  • Allergies to egg, shellfish or iodine
  • Extremely reactive or fragile skin, recent skin surgery on and around the area.
  • Clients with active cold sores, warts, wounds or sunburn
