LYMPHATIC THERAPY

WHAT IS LYMPHATIC THERAPY?

PRIN LYMPHATIC THERAPY is a tightening treatment mask for clinic and salon use. It’s designed to work with your circulatory system - an often overlooked, but vital component of optimal skin health. This organ system is responsible for removing waste via our lymphatics, and nourishing our cells and tissues via our blood supply. These systems always work together, taking and giving, maintaining homeostasis. The circulatory system plays a key role in a holistic approach to skin health.

When our blood circulates around our body it provides nutrients (such as amino acids), water and oxygen to our cells and tissues. However during the capillary fluid exchange (where water, amino acids, and oxygen cross the capillary wall into the extracellular fluid), fluids don’t travel very far into the surrounding tissue, and even less when there are roadblocks. Which is why there needs to be a ‘clear road’, free from debris, so that these nutrients can get to their target. This is why lymphatic drainage is important to the health of your skin! It’s not only what goes into the body, it’s what goes into the cell. Just because you have oxygen, nutrients and water in your body, that doesn’t mean they are reaching the surface skin cells. You need supply AND you need drainage before supply.

BENEFITS OF LYMPHATIC THERAPY:

The prin lymphatic treatment mask tightens and works within the skin by applying transient pressure to assist with activating the circulatory and lymphatic system. This creates a clean environment for cells to flourish in, while also feeding the cells fresh oxygenated and nutrient rich blood and carrying away deoxygenated blood.

Lymphatic Therapy is indicated for maintaining skin health, as part of a skin health pathway, or as pre and post support to advanced skin rejuvenation. Creating a healthy responsive skin, and assisting with healing and recovery through increased oxygenation and cellular activity, encouraging new collagen and elastin formation and detoxifying the skin.

Hero Ingredients:

As if this treatment wasn’t amazing enough on its own, here’s what we are also feeding the skin. A happy and healthy plate of skin loving ingredients, featuring a selection of native Australian botanicals.

Amino Acids - Lysine and Glycine, Kakadu Plum Extract, Davidson Plum Extract, Tasmanian Pepper Leaf Extract, Aloe Vera Powder (Organic), Liquorice Extract, Chamomile Extract, Calendula (Marigold) Extract and Superoxide Dismutase

THE LYMPHATIC FACIAL - $220

Aftercare Post Lymphatic Therapy:

Any redness or vascular plasma response can last up to 15-20mins on the skin. Make up can be worn post treatment.

Drink plenty of water post and the week following lymphatic therapy to assist with detoxification and blood circulation. Skin may feel tight or dry post treatment. Apply hydration serums, masks and moisturiser the week post treatment.

If you experience an allergic reaction to the mask due to it containing albumen (Egg), please seek medical assistance, use an antihistamine or contact us.

Please wait 1-2 weeks between any injectables due to muscle contraction from the treatment and skin needling due to the skin being over stimulated.

Lymphatic Therapy is not recommended for:

  • Extremely reactive or fragile skin, recent skin surgery on and around the area.
  • Clients with active cold sores, warts, wounds or sunburn
