The electrical energy flow inside ULCHE is transmitted to the transducer in the cartridge and converted to ultrasonic energy. Once it reaches the SMAS layer, which is between the muscle layer and the subcutaneous fat layer, its thermal energy promotes collagen and cause the SMAS to coagulate. ULCHE consists of 4 cartridges. Cartridges are chosen depending on frequency(Hz) and penetration depth. 1.5mm, 3.0mm & 4.5mm for face and 6.0mm for body.

ULCHE 6mm cartridge is filled with fiber that smoothens area like solid cellu-lite and uneven skin after liposuction operations. It is effective on thin skin such as forearms and thighs.

BEFORE HIFU

Please discontinue products containing any exfoliating agents or active ingredients: vitamin a or c, retinoic acid, tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, astringents, etc. 2-3 days prior to treatment.

Do not spray or self-tan, wax or shave 24-48 hours. Drink plenty of water & practice strict sun protection 4 weeks prior. Bring a hat on the day if it's sunny.

Please wait 2 weeks between laser, ipl, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, injectables or other related treatments before receiving a HIFU treatment.

AFTER HIFU

Immediately after HIFU:

You may experience bruising and tenderness post HIFU and erythema (redness) can last up to 48-72hr. Flushed skin for about an hour. No down time but slight swelling can last up to 2-3 days post treatment.

Very rare, but some patients can experience tingling or tenderness to the touch.

Avoid heat, high temperature exposure, saunas, hot tubs, chlorine, spray or self-tanning, exercise and sweaty activity for 24 hours. Make up can be used after.

Aftercare HIFU:

For the first 3 to 5 days, Please discontinue products containing any exfoliating agents or active ingredients: vitamin a or c, retinoic acid, tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, astringents, etc.

Avoid sun exposure post treatment for 4-6 weeks. Apply SPF 30 or greater and reapply often. Be careful of occasional sun exposure; as this breaks down collagen.

Please wait 2 weeks between laser, ipl, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, botox or other related treatments after receiving HIFU.

Please wait 4 weeks between filler or skin needling treatments before and after receiving HIFU.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

HIFU is not recommended for:

Systemic or local skin diseases
Swelling, inflamed areas
Thin or very lax skin
65+ years of age
Dental implants
Pace maker
Pregnant and breastfeeding
Immunosuppressive, anticoagulant and steroid therapy
Open wound, skin lesions
Cancer or serious endocrine disorder
Severe face/neck acne
