q-switchED laser

WHAT IS Q-SWITCHED LASER?

Q-switched laser technology creates high-intensity pulsed beam light. The energy emitted by a Q-switched laser is concentrated into ultra-powerful pulses that last just a billionth of a second each. Because the energy’s contact with the skin is less than other lasers, Q-switched lasers are known for preserving surrounding tissue and a reduced risk of unwanted side effects.

Q-switched laser technology is non-ablative, non-invasive and can also produce different wavelengths of light, which makes them versatile treatments that can effectively address many conditions. The Q-switched laser excels in the treatment of unwanted pigmentation or tattoo ink. It can also be calibrated for anti-ageing and general skin rejuvenation. Under these settings, the benefits of treatment include removing debris, keratinised skin cells, excess oil and bacteria for a smoother, clearer and brighter complexion. The laser also heats the deeper skin layers to stimulate new collagen production over time.

LASER REJUVENATION

Laser rejuvenation is a non-invasive complexion toning laser that improves the quality and texture of skin. Using laser technology that gently heats the deeper layers of the skin by distributing laser energy over thousands of micro pulses.

This creates a thermal effect that stimulates fibroblasts to create a layer of new collagen that thickens the skin, whilst also smoothing out fines lines and wrinkles. Laser rejuvenation also works on shattering pigment to even out skin tone. Rejuvenating the overall look and health of the skin without any downtime and is safe for all skin types.

PIGMENT REMOVAL

Q-Switch Laser is effective in lightening and removing a wide range of skin pigmentation disorders caused by hormonal changes and sun exposure. Including, sun-freckles, age spots, stubborn melasma, birthmarks of various colours including brown, blue, grey and black, eg cafe-au-lait spots, nevus of ota and hori’s nevus.

The laser produces short pulses of energy that pass harmlessly through the skin’s top layers and are selectively absorbed by the abnormal pigment. This causes the pigment to shatter into smaller fragments, which can then be cleared away naturally by the body’s immune system.

CARBON LASER

Carbon Laser, also known as "china doll facial" is a non-invasive, gentle treatment that provides instant radiance and glowing results with no downtime. It's highly beneficial for clients with oily and congested skin, enlarged pores and dull, ageing skin. Carbon facials are also an excellent way to exfoliate and refresh skin, providing an instant brighter appearance and leaving the skin feeling softer, smoother and firmer.

During the treatment, a layer of fine carbon particles are applied over the face. The Q-switched laser is passed over the skin to heat up the carbon and cause an implosion of the carbon particles. As the laser travels across the skin, the carbon layer is gently vacuumed up, exfoliating the skin and removing debris frоm dеер within the pores.

HAIR whitening

Our Q-Switch laser machine uses a laser beam of a specific wavelength to target the melanin content in the hair shaft. Generally, certain facial areas are unsuitable for laser hair removal due to the risk of stimulating hair growth or in areas not ideal, such as the brows. However, laser hair whitening uses a highly accurate light beam to destroy melanin in these hairs without the risk of triggering a hormonal hair growth response or risk of removing brow hairs. As a result, hair colour becomes lightened enough to match the skin tone in a safe and effective way.

Areas that can be treated include brow shaping, forehead, side burns and chin. Laser hair bleaching is a superficial and painless treatment that lasts 4-10 weeks and doesn’t provide permanent results.
